O-WORKS BLACK #1 WIDE 2020 PUTTER
The new O-Works Black Putters were driven by extensive feedback from our staffers. Some players prefer a clean, simple look at address and this all-black finish has been a popular choice with the pros for years. They asked us to combine this finish with our revolutionary Microhinge insert technology, so we got to work and made it happen quickly.
Odyssey has set the standard that everyone looks up to for putter innovation since we introduced our legendary White Hot insert, and now we’ve reached an unprecedented level with microhinge. This insert technology has proven itself on Tour from the time Phil Mickelson put it into play, and it’s created a new way to roll for pros and amateurs alike. Our R&D department focused on the effect of the insert at impact, and the results have been nothing short of amazing.
We also pay close attention to trends that we see with our staffers, and a lot of them have moved toward mallets, which are easier to align and more forgiving than blades. So our O-Works Black line features a number of exciting mallet shapes like the #7, 2-Ball Fang, and Marxman. And all of these new mallets are available in face balanced and toe hang designs.
Unmatched Roll with our Microhinge Face Insert
Our Microhinge technology provides incredible gains in topspin and roll at impact regardless of your stroke. The stainless steel Microhinge plate is co-molded into our Thermoplastic Elastomer Feel Layer, providing great feel and getting the ball into a better roll at impact.
All-Black Finish Driven By Tour Feedback
Some players like a clean, simple look at address, and this finish has been a tremendously popular choice on Tour for years. When a number of our Tour players told us that they wanted an all-black putter with our microhinge insert we listened, and then we made an unbelievable putter.
Tour Proven Shapes & Mallets With Toe Hang
These are some of our most prolific models that have dominated Tour events and major championships for years. As the #1 putter across the major tours, we’re constantly working to develop and tweak shapes for ultimate performance. And the new mallets with toe hang are all designed for players who like to feel the face of their putter rotate more in their stroke.
